The 83 year old actor (above, on the left, in case you're slow) who played Moses passed away Saturday. From "The 10 Commandments" to "Ben Hur" to "Planet of the Apes," he was well known for his acting.
As for his politics, he wasn't my favorite. He was head of the NRA. I hate guns. Nuff said. However, I sympathized with him over the way he was treated and portrayed in the Michael Moore movie "Bowling for Columbine." Heston had Alzheimer's, and Moore badgered him in an ambush interview. Michael Moore can be a real ass.
RIP, Charlie.
