He's got the best 'stache on TV, he's been featured on Comedy Central's "South Park," and now... he's got his job for a long time to come:
FOX Television Stations Inc. announced Wednesday that news anchor Ron Zappolo has signed a new long-term deal to keep his position as co-anchor of FOX 31 News at Nine O'clock.
"I am thrilled to continue with the team at FOX 31 News," Zappolo said in a FOX 31 news release. "It is an exciting day for me and my family."
Vice president and news director Brad Remington said Zappolo contributes more to the FOX 31 news team than is seen on TV.
"He is a newsroom leader, well informed and passionate about putting the best newscast on the air," Remington said in the statement.
