So we just found out from our real estate broker, we're officially moving. Our new home will be the Forte Condo building, in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The building is brand new. Our unit has never been lived in, and it has spectacular views. From the 30 story roof, you can see all the way from Staten Island to the Statue of Liberty to Jersey City to the entire island of Manhattan. The Empire State Building looms large in the view.
It's about a 30 minute subway ride from my office, but my bosses will be sending a car to pick me up for work every night (fancy, huh?), so I'll only have to ride the subway one-way.
We should be moving in the next few weeks... which means we can FINALLY get all of our belongings out of storage!
