It was truly miserable this weekend in New York City. We tried to stay inside as much as possible (although Taunia did take a sweat-soaked run through Central Park... alone, I might add).
The year's first heat wave scalded the East Coast, yielding soupy, humid conditions that broke records. The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat advisory for New York City. With the heat index, it felt like 100 degrees.
Yuck.
