Violent lightning and thunderstorms moved through Manhattan late Tuesday night. My producer, Jake, took these from his apartment window in Hell's Kitchen, looking across the Hudson River and into New Jersey. The good news: the storms brought cooler weather. For the first time in days, it won't be 100 degrees Wednesday.
