Tomey-cakes Summits Snowmass

Our weekend weather guy, Chris Tomer, affectionately nicknamed "Tomey-cakes" by Heidi Hemmat, sent along these pictures of him summiting Snowmass Mountain (a 14er) and it's glacier-fed Snowmass Lake. Snowmass Mountain is remote and rugged. It's summit cannot be seen from any road or town, which makes the hike very rewarding and somewhat mysterious! The summit ridge is less than 15 feet across.
