Well, Taunia and I have both been nominated for Emmy's! The big ceremony is next month... a chance to get all dressed up, and leave empty handed, no doubt.
Nominations were announced today.
Taunia's nominated in the Breaking News category for her story, "Water Rescue."
I was nominated for two Emmy's. One for "Journalistic Enterprise," and another for "Best Writing."
I'm disappointed that my half hour news special, "Battle for the Border," was shut out. But you learn to take this Emmy stuff in stride. I've now been nominated for 16 Emmy's... and I've only won 2.
