According to the Hollywood Reporter, Ridley Scott is set to produce "Factor-X," a movie that will explore the hunt for Dennis Rader, who admitted in 2005 to being the notorious BTK killer.
"Factor-X" will focus on the working partnership between a Wichita police detective and a counterterrorism agent from Washington, D.C., who helped crack the case, according to the Reporter.
Eric Bana has been cast to portray the Wichita detective; Terrence Howard will play the agent, the paper said.
Scott, the director of "Alien," "Thelma & Louise" and "Gladiator," may also direct "Factor-X," the paper reported.
The title refers to Rader's description of the internal force that he said drove him to kill.
