This picture appeared in this morning's "Aspen Daily News." It's a photo of my photographer, Tom McDonald (I'm hidden behind the camera) and I interviewing Rick Magnuson, a candidate for sheriff in Pitkin County, Colorado. He's got an... unusual story. Read below:

October 16, 2006 -- DENVER - A sheriff wannabe says a sexually suggestive film he made of himself shouldn't disqualify him from being elected - calling it a healthy example of performance art. The 12-minute outdoor clip shows Rick Magnuson from behind as he appears to masturbate. "A beer commercial is more explicit. In everyone's life, they have issues that come up," said Magnuson, 41, who gave a copy to a cable-TV station, and to Fox 31 News.
