A Familiar Voice is Silenced

You may not know his name, but you've definitely heard his voice. The great Christopher Glenn of CBS Radio News has died, sadly, just eight months after his retirement. He was CBS News correspondent for 35 years who anchored numerous broadcasts including the 1986 coverage of the space shuttle Challenger explosion. He died of liver cancer at the age of 68. A native New Yorker, Glenn received a B.A. degree from the University of Colorado in 1959.
