Saturday night is the big night! Emmy night. Taunia has been nominated for Best Breaking News, and I've been nominated for Journalistic Enterprise and News Writing.
I can't go, because my employer won't let me off work. But Taunia will be there. And it'll be a chance to catch up with old friends
-- Our friend Roger Cornish from KWCH is being inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Heartland Chapter "Silver Circle," for his 25 years of service to the Wichita viewing public.
-- Our friends Dave Grant (news director at KAKE) and Jeff Herndon (anchor at KAKE, for now anyway), are part of a team nominated for Medium Market best newscast for one of their BTK shows.
Wish us luck! We'll let you know what happens!
